About the PIG Tournament
We started this tournament as a way to remember a loved one in our family, James “Porky” Lester. He loved spending time with his family and friends, playing sports, working on projects, and making jokes. We wanted to honor him somehow and keep his legacy alive. Golf was one of the sports he would play with his friends and family. A simple game that drove him crazy. We came up with the idea for a tournament as a family. It was a great way to get a lot of people who loved and respected him together for one day a year. It has turned into something amazing, and we are grateful to everyone who participates and helps out every year. It is a time to tell stories about the man who brought us all together.
