James "Porky" Lester

James Lester, known as “Porky” to his family and friends, was a big supporter of CT Special Olympics and The Beacon Project in Islesboro, ME, his favorite place. He enjoyed family trips to Disney and time spent in Maine. He was a big sports fan, carpenter, and friend to all who knew him. He was known for his mustache and big smile. He enjoyed playing golf, at times,  and being outdoors. He was married for 35 years to Lisa, and loved watching his two children Jimmy and Amanda play sports. He passed away unexpectedly in 2016, but his legacy lives on in this foundation.
