About the Foundation

The Pork Positive Foundation was formed to honor James “Pork” Lester. The PPF is a non-profit organization which was set up to raise money for organizations that James supported. This foundation is also a way to spread positivity and continue to honor James’s legacy. We hope to grow our organization to include other fundraising opportunities in the future.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competitions to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their peers without disabilities.

The Beacon Project: Boardman Cottage

Boardman cottage is residential elder care facility in Islesboro, Maine that runs off donations only. It is a way for island elders to remain on the island and get the care they need.
